Robert Habeck has been the federal chairman of Alliance 90/The Greens since 2018. He was previously Minister and Deputy Minister-President of Schleswig-Holstein for six years, most recently heading the Ministry for Energy Transition, Environment, Agriculture and Digitalization. His political aim is to put people at the center of a social-ecological market economy and to create a social system that guarantees social cohesion for the future as well. He is a trained philologist and philosopher and has been working as a writer.
