Leonore Gewessler is the Federal Minister of Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation, and Technology of the Republic of Austria. She serves as Deputy Chairwoman of the Green Parliamentary Group and has been a Member of the National Council as well as of the European Parliament. Also, she has been the Executive Director of one of Austria’s largest NGOs for Environmental Protection, Global 2000, and served as Director of the Green European Foundation.
