Helle Thorning-Schmidt, former CEO of Save the Children International and Co-Chair of the Facebook Oversight Board Helle Thorning-Schmidt is the former Prime Minister of Denmark, a position she held between 2011 and 2015. She also served as leader of the opposition and party leader in the Danish Parliament and as a member of European Parliament. Following her time in public office, she was the CEO of Save the Children (from 2016 to 2019). Currently, she serves on a portfolio of corporate boards and is the Co-Chair of the Facebook Oversight Board.
