Emily Tamkin is the US editor at the New Statesman and the author of the book, The Influence of Soros: Politics, Power, and the Struggle for an Open Society. Her work has also appeared in Politico, Slate, and The Washington Post, among other publications, and she previously covered foreign affairs as a staff writer at BuzzFeed News and Foreign Policy. She was a 2012-2013 Fulbright fellow in Bremen, Germany and a 2019-2020 Council on Foreign Relations international affairs fellow in New Delhi, India.
