Ardalan Shekarabi

Mr. Shekarabi was appointed Minister for Social Security in October 2019. His responsibilities include social insurance, pensions and gambling policy. During the previous administration, Mr. Shekarabi held the position as Minister for Public Administration. Between 2013 and 2014 he was a member of the Riksdag. Previously, Mr. Shekarabi has been the acting chair of both the Swedish Social Democratic Party crisis commission and the Social Democratic Youth League. Ardalan Shekarabi was born in 1978. He lives in Knivsta, is married and has three children.
