Entering the 2020s, societies have still not done enough to stop the climate crisis. As nations and regions begin to build back better in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, there is an opportunity to do so with green infrastructure and fair work. Going beyond hard infrastructure, which large-scale investments can be made that can secure a green planet but also reduce inequalities in society and facilitate social mobility? This session will look at a wide array of infrastructure and how to politically implement bold reform that addresses the two crises of inequality and climate change.
