Before the official opening of the Progressive Governance Digital Summit 2021, partners and co-hosts from all over the globe came together to assess the state of progressive politics in Europe and North America.

This session shed light on the latest news and developments in progressive politics. In particular, the speakers identified the challenges progressive have been facing and which opportunities emerge as our societies are heading towards a “new normal”. The objective was to assess the state of centre-left parties and politics in Europe and North America in times of an unprecedented global crisis and reflect on how the think tank community can make a difference.
