Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk is a Polish left-wing social activist and politician. She has been a member of the Sejm since 2019. In 2016, Foreign Policy magazine included Dziemianowicz-Bąk on its annual list of the 100 most influential global thinkers for her role in organising the "black protest" against a total ban on abortion in Poland. Aside from women's rights, she is actively involved in the fight for LGBT equality as well as worker's rights, having organized a centre for legal help (Poselska Pomoc Pracownicza) and personally intervened in multiple cases of breach of employment contract during the Coronavirus pandemic. With a background in education she works closely with Polish biggest teachers' unions as well as with student organizations.
